Just as a symphony harmonizes the orchestra's instruments, this fine blend skillfully marries an exclusive La Via del Tè italian black tea, hand-picked in September to the best bergamot rind, best bergamot natural flavour and colourful mallow flowers. The result is a unique, premium tea creation with rich earl grey tones. The black tea base is of limited production, exclusive to La Via del Tè, traditionally harvested by hand in september at the Premosello tea garden near Lake Maggiore. A handcrafted tea, solely picked by hand, selecting buds and leaves one by one. A limited production, a tea like no other.

An exceptional blend made with Italian black tea grown in Val d'Ossola, near Lake Maggiore, in the Premosello plantation, the second largest plantation in Europe after that of the Azores and the first in Italy capable of guaranteeing an appreciable and stable production of tea. At Premosello no chemical products are used, neither to fertilize nor to protect the plants from parasites or diseases; weeding is still done by hand and with the technique of straw mulching. From the harvesting, traditionally done by hand with selection of only the apical buds and the first two tender leaves underneath, to the still artisanal processing, everything is entrusted to the skill and sensitivity to produce a completely natural tea with perfectly defined characteristics of body, fragrance, aroma and flavor.
Chocolate fudge, cake and dessert. Dark chocolate. Nice with apple pie, scones and shortbreads. It goes well with cheese like herbed goat cheese and ham sandwiches.
