Loose herbal tea in 50 grams bag
Produced by processing the leaves of a shrub of the leguminosae family that grows in small areas only in South Africa. The plant's scientific name is Cyclopia, belonging to Fabaceae family and has many similarieties at least in terms of taste with Rooibos, the other famous South African product. The process involves withering, mechanical mangling to break the leaf veins and oxidation. With a sweet taste and intense honey aroma, it is caffeine-free and delicious enjoyed unsweetened. It contains isoflavones, classified as natural phyto-oestrogens.
