Spicy Ginger Detox

Need an energy boost to get you through the day? To speed up your metabolism and boost circulation, try this Spicy Ginger Detox tea.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ginger herbal tea bag
  • 500 ml boiling water
  • Few dashes cinnamon, to taste
  • Few dashes ground turmeric to taste
  • Few dashes cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 small lemon slice
  • Pure maple syrup or honey to taste

    Directions:
  • Place ginger herbal tea bag inside a teapot and pour over 500 ml of boiling water.
  • Cover and steep the ginger tea for 6-7 minutes.
  • Remove tea bag. Add cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne. Whisk until combined.
  • Drop in the lemon slice. Stir well.
  • Add maple syrup to taste, stir or better whisk to combine.
